IMG 27772 768x1024 ABOUT ME

My name is Jillian Indelicato and I was born and bred in the Boston, Massachusetts area. When I was 16 my family took a trip to Italy, and it was the first time I was exposed to a culture completely different from my own. Ever since then I’ve dreamed of seeing the world. In college, my schedule hindered me from doing a semester abroad. Therefore, I had accepted that all of my traveling would have to be done later in life. But in the spring of 2010 everything changed; I decided to attend grad school in England.

While obtaining my Master’s degree in Modern Literature and Creative Writing, I was able to travel across Europe.  Elements of that coursework inspired me to become a travel writer, blogger, photographer and travel educator. Following the completion of my dissertation, I moved to Italy for my last four months abroad. There I was reconnected with my Italian relatives and my roots. This past year and a half has allowed me to do things I never thought imaginable, and as a result I refuse to stop traveling. My goal for this site is that it provides its readers with general travel advice, as well as my own travel experiences that I feel are worth sharing.
